Naomi and Christian’s engagement session was held in my Baltimore studio. The couple is no stranger to the camera, and I first met them during an editorial shoot at Assateague Island in Delaware. Since then, I’ve also worked with them for a commercial shoot…because they’re models. Each time I have them in front of my camera, it’s just a fun time, and it feels like photographing old friends at this point.

Mitchell and Alexis, high school sweethearts actually got engaged in a museum, so it felt very right to have their engagement session at a museum too. I met them at the National Gallery of Art Museum in Washington, DC, right next to The Mall.

On a quiet afternoon in Logan circle, I met up with high school sweethearts, Brittany and Ben for their engagement session at Le Diplomate. Light poured into the restaurant while the lunch crowd wrapped up their dates and the couple slipped into a corner table by the door.
