How it felt.

Lauren and Troy’s intimate elopement at the Riggs Hotel in Washington, DC was planned and designed by Cheers Darling Events. In the midst of the pandemic, the couple decided there was no reason to wait to get married, and planned a microwedding to focus on their love for one another. Lauren slipped into a chic Tadashi Shoji gown before their first look overlooking DC on the rooftop of the Riggs. After their private ceremony and a quick walk around the neighborhood for portraits, Lauren and Troy cut their cake and facetime’d family members.
