After looking through Nikki's portfolio, we were really drawn into how she captured different complexions and races. As an interracial couple, it was important that we both stood out in our wedding photos. Additionally, we wanted romantic and vintage style photos, which we felt was Nikki's style based on her technique and the type of lighting she captures. We decided to go with Nikki not only because of her technique, but also because she was extremely personable and friendly. We planned our wedding from overseas in London, so it was important for us to work with a photographer we got along with from afar, and who we felt made us feel calm and relaxed. She is very organized and efficient. We were concerned with our wedding timeline, and Nikki immediately stepped in and adjusted the timeline in order to capture as many photos and portraits as possible. On the wedding day, we had an unreal experience with Nikki given she was so prepared upfront - we were able to capture more than enough photos before the ceremony to give us plenty of time to enjoy cocktail hour! We received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback from our wedding photos. I honestly can't recommend Nikki enough to anyone looking for a reliable, personable, intimate, and incredibly creative and talented wedding photographer.
