It’s hard to believe that this high school graduation party was in a backyard because it absolutely felt like Tulum, Mexico thanks to the incredible design by Francie for Lauryn Prattes Styling and Events. There were 3 food stations decked out with hanging baskets, overflowing with fruits and vegetables and menus at each location that had handwritten calligraphy by Jess McSweeney. The sounds of a mariachi band reached the far ends of the party while guests visited food stations, more Hors d’oeuvre were passed around by Occasions Caterers. Some of the bites included baja fish tacos, short rib empanadas, chipotle shrimp on corn cakes, elote style carrots, mexican “street fries” and more. Possibly one of the most adorable touches had to be the branded coconuts that had the celebrants’ names burned into the sides. Guests wandered around the pool, sipping on agua fresca and margaritas, although there were plenty of lounge spaces setup, surrounded by incredible floral designs by Amaryllis Floral and Event Design. Custom bars were brought in from Something Vintage Rentals to enhance the ambience and guests piled in front of the backdrop for selfies. A complete vendor list is below.
